It is no secret that I have a passion for dancing. I always have and I think I always will.
After moving back home from Utah, I had the opportunity to dance again. And although it was the furthest thing from my mind at the time, I decided to just go ahead and do it. Not only to help out when needed, but to give me something fun to do outside of regular Mommy life.
I danced with the promo team again (just helping out here and there), when a couple of months later the opportunity to be a lead role performer in the night show presented itself. Needless to say, I ended up doing it and it was an awesome experience.
And I know I am no actress, but it felt good to do something that challenged me and pulled me out of my comfort zone a little. It was a great learning experience and I was especially grateful for all of the close friendships that were created (especially with the other lead roles), throughout the process.
Never thought I'd be able to dance again post-mom life.
As always, a huge thank you to my leaders, kumu hula's, ra'atira's, and loved ones for always supporting me and believing in me. Especially to my Heavenly Father for blessing me with talents and the passion that I have for dance. Feeling extremely blessed. Xo!
P.S. I am also working on-call/part time at Kahuku Hospital and Oceanside Hawaii as a PTA. This gig is just a one night a week kind-of-a-thing! ;) Just FYI.
