So this just happened.
I just completed, passed, and graduated from Flight Attendant training.
To be honest, I never imagined I'd become a flight attendant, but now I am just one of the many with a double career. Love the flexibility of this job and love that I'll still be able to continue doing what I love and went to school for (Physical Therapy), just like many other flight attendants out there.
Thank goodness for maternity leave, though, right? And that on-call status too. This was one opportunity I just couldn't give up, and why would I? I was already on maternity leave at the hospital, so it was perfect timing. Well it was both the perfect and worst timing, but hey, like I said before, it was an opportunity I (as well as my husband) wasn't willing to give up, no matter how hard it was going to be with a newborn.
But guess what folks, we did it! We did it!
I am so grateful for my husband and kids, who had to bear with me during such a busy time, and I am also so grateful for the amazing support system that we have. There is no way we would've been able to do this without our families help and we will be forever grateful to them.
So here's to my new career in the skies! Excited for this new journey that awaits me. Aloha!
