Okay guys, so baby just turned 3 weeks old yesterday, which means I'm one week down on the new diet (basically just eating healthy, eating less and drinking water). It wasn't perfect, that's for sure, and I cheated probably 4 or 5 times, but it was still a HUGE improvement compared to how my diet was over the past couple of months, so I'm still counting it as a win!
I saw it as a good practice round and a nice way to transition back in to healthy eating. After all, my official 21 Day Fix diet doesn't start for another week, so I have one more week to really get back in to the habit. I'm even planning on breaking the rules a little and am going to start being active again when I hit 4 weeks postpartum. I know I should be waiting for the full 6 weeks of healing to pass, but I really want to get going already. I'm not planning on doing anything crazy like Crossfit, but maybe just walking and possibly the 21 day fix workouts if it doesn't feel like too much?! I've never "broken the rules" after any of my other pregnancies before, but willing to try it out this time since I'm feeling a lot better now (and since I have a lot to lose).
