Okay guys, I am coming up on 2 weeks now and yeah, I am totally crazy, but HEY, cheers to actually doing it! (Refer to my last workout post for details.) I am so proud of myself, not only for making time for Crossfit, but for running too!
I will say this though, my original plan was to break it up to get one workout in in the morning and one in the evening, but the reality of what has been happening is that I end up doing both back-to back. I'll either run then go to Crossfit or go to Crossfit then run. And if you are thinking that is crazy, crazy is right! But that is just what has been working out babysitter and convenience wise. Not ideal, but I'm making it work. The good thing about doing it this way though, is that I'm actually working out long enough to get rid of my glycogen stores, which then allows my body to burn the fat. Sometimes when I just run, I'm only there for about 30-40 minutes and the bad thing about that is I'm probably not even getting to the burning fat part by the time I leave (or am only burning very very little). So in that case, this is actually working out in my favor. :) The down side is that I am just completely DEAD and exhausted after. But hey, I made this goal for myself and I am proud of myself for actually sticking to it. Plus my results aren't too shabby either. ;)
So why only 2 weeks of this plan, you may ask? Well it is because our summer family travels are about to commence. We will be traveling for the next 2 weeks: first to Tonga for my husband's family reunion, then to Greece and Italy on a couple's trip! And I am soooo excited, you don't even know! So that is why I had to kill it in the workout/eating healthy department the past two weeks, because you know that ain't happening while we are gone. (I am just going to put that out there now. Not. Happening.) I put in the work the past 2 1/2 months and now it is time to PLAY and ENJOY! So until next time, friends....
